The Benefits of Sending Your Child To Overnight Camp

The summer is not a time for children to forget everything they learned in school. Instead, it is a time for children to grow and learn new things. That's where overnight camp comes in! Below are some of the benefits your child will reap when they attend Camp Tioga

No Electronics Allowed
Some children have smart phones and tablets. While they are becoming more technologically savvy, they are also becoming more sedentary. This is not true for campers at Camp Tioga! We have a strict no cell phone policy. When kids unplug from technology, they have the opportunity to explore new sports and activities.

Decision Making Skills
During a typical day at camp, campers make plenty of decisions. They will decide what to wear, what to eat and what activities to participate in. Not only will it teach them how to make their own decisions, it will allow them to discover their true passions.

More Appreciative
It is so easy to take people for granted. Campers will have to adjust to camp life without the guidance and support of their parents. In the end, campers learn to appreciate their parents and all the comforts of home.

Are you thinking of sending your son to overnight camp this summer? If so, choose Camp Tioga. We are confident that Camp Tioga is the right fit for any child. This is due to our superior staff, picturesque grounds and the 80 activities we offer. Call 516-938-0894 for more information.
