Safety Tips To Keep In Mind At Summer Camp

At Camp Tioga, your child's safety is our number one priority. With incredible camper to counselor ratios, constant supervision, a highly trained, caring medical staff and an exceptional team of directors, we provide every one of our campers with the safest, most fun and successful summer possible. Below are some safety tips to keep in mind for summer camp.
  •  Prior to starting camp, please fill out the medical form. This will help us learn about your child's medical needs and how we can accommodate them.
  • Always wear the appropriate safety equipment when playing a sport or doing an activity. When canoeing, wear a life-vest. When riding a bike, wear a helmet.
  • Pack wisely. It is important for campers to pack certain items; such as bug spray, sunscreen and calamine lotion. These may come in handy down the road.
Did you know that Camp Tioga has consistently been rated as one of America's safest camp? We have achieved this recognition with our superior camper to counselor ratio and skilled medical staff.
